Chase Owens is getting his one-on-one IWGP US title shot afterall.

The Bullet Club member shocked many when he defeated Juice Robinson in the first round of the New Japan Cup tournament and again in a recent tag team match. Owens made it clear that he wanted his much deserved title shot by attacking the US champ and raising the belt after the vicious beating.

Now, New Japan has officially confirmed that the two competitors will clash on March 24th.

During that same event, the winner of the New Japan Cup will be crowned as well. Thus far, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Zack Sabre Jr., Kazuichika Okada, Will Ospreay, YOSHI-HASHI, Colt Cabana, SANADA, and Tomohiro Ishii are set for the quarterfinals, which will begin on March 20th.

Will we see a title change a couple weeks before the big ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard? Well find out on March 24th!
