Davey Boy Smith Jr. will take on MLW newcomer Erick Stevens.

The third-generation star is coming off a brutal war against Simon Gotch at MLW: Zero Hour, with the former MLW World Tag Team Champion victorious in their No Holds Barred match. Now that his feud with Gotch and The CONTRA Unit is over (at least for now), Smith Jr. looks to get back into World Heavyweight title contention; however, the third-generation star must go through Erick Stevens first.

The indie veteran actually requested to fight the former MLW World Tag Team Champion, as Stevens wants to make a violent example on one of MLW’s top stars. Will Stevens prove that he’s amongst the elite by defeating Davey Boy Smith Jr.? Or will the third-generation star prove that the indie veteran still isn’t ready for the big leagues?

We’ll find out on February 1 at Philadelphia’s historic 2300 Arena at MLW: FIGHTLAND. Check out the updated line-up below:

MLW World Heavyweight Championship
Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Cima

MLW National Openweight Championship
Alex Hammerstone (c) vs. T-Hawk

Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Jimmy Havoc

Killer Kross vs. Tom Lawlor

Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. Erick Stevens
