An intriguing match-up has been confirmed for MLW: FIGHTLAND, as Séptimo Dragon will take on Douglas James at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday February 1. The event will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Both men represent a different clash of styles in the middleweight division, with Dragon being about highflying and speed. James on the other hand is a grappling and submission-based type fighter, who’s skills from the MMA/Kickboxer world have transitioned into the squared circle.

Dragon and James are looking to climb the rankings in the middleweight division to eventually challenge current MLW World Middleweight Champion, Myron Reed. Will Dragon’s Lucha Libre style get the best of Douglas James? Or will the former MMA fighter beatdown Dragon and make him submit?
