At MLW: Zero Hour, Erick Stevens will finally make his debut for the promotion.
It was confirmed several weeks back that the former Ring of Honor star would be making his debut for the promotion during the event in Dallas, Texas; however, an opponent was never made official. Looking for a fight, Douglas James stepped up and asked to face the MLW newcomer and MLW CEO Court Bauer made the match official at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area this Saturday January 11.
Stevens has been in the wrestling business for over a decade, competing in promotions such as ROH (as previously mentioned), Beyond Wrestling, Full Impact Pro, and so much more.
Douglas James is still a newcomer to MLW himself, as the former Kickboxer/ MMA Fighter has had impressive showings against the likes of National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone and Timothy Thatcher, but is still trying to find his footing within the MLW roster.
Which talent will seize the opportunity to rise up within the MLW ranks? We’ll find out on Saturday, January 11th! Check out the updated line-up for the show in Dallas, Texas:
