It all came down to the Guerrillas of Destiny, EVIL & SANADA, and Juice Robinson & David Finlay.
Earlier today, New Japan Pro Wrestling held the finals for the World Tag Team League tournament and all three teams were poised to win the 2019 competition. Unfortunately for the IWGP Tag Team Champions, there chances faded away when they lost to Tomohiro Ishii and YOSHI-HASHI.
This meant that it came down to the 2017 & 2018 winners, EVIL & SANADA, and FinJuice. Both teams fought in the main event of a wild evening and the match-up was a strong back-and-forth affair; however, Finlay got the 1-2-3 on EVIL and won the 2019 tournament for both him & Robinson.
This means that David Finlay & Juice Robinson will challenge Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa for the IWGP Tag Team Titles at Wrestle Kingdom 14. Check out the results for the final night of the 2019 World Tag League tournament:
