Former ECW World Champion Taz will be making his return to AEW Dynamite.


The promotion confirmed that the former wrestler/color commentator would be making a special appearance during the Dynamite Homecoming episode on January 1st in Jacksonville, Florida. The company never details what exactly Taz will be doing on the show; however, Dave Meltzer reports that the former ECW star will be calling the action alongside Excalibur and Jim Ross.

Tony Schiavone will be announcing the Sugar Bowl College Football Game on the radio, thus he’ll be unavailable for the show. Taz has previously made an appearance for AEW, working as a guest commentator on Dark; He was also a special guest at Full Gear.
