Former Impact World Champion Brian Cage finally addresses his future.

Back on Jan. 12th, Steve Bryant of SoCalUncensored reported that Cage’s contract with Impact was done; That same article stated that the former Impact World Champion had signed with All Elite Wrestling. However, Melissa Santos – the wife of Brian Cage – shot down those rumors by clearly stating that Cage hasn’t signed with anyone just yet.

Cage finally discussed his future in professional wrestling and confirms that he’s not signed to any promotion at the moment. However, ‘The Machine’ did state that Impact and numerous companies offered him a lucrative deal, but unfortunately, he’s forced to put wrestling on the back burner at the moment due to tearing his bicep that requires surgery.

The California native doesn’t state where he’ll end up next, but Cage did tag Impact, AEW, WWE, and New Japan Pro Wrestling in his post. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Cage planned on signing with AEW; however, the nature of his injury has delayed any plans for the former Impact star at the moment.
