It appears that Will Ospreay could be out of action for a bit.

The “Aerial Assassin” is coming off a fantastic back-and-forth match against the returning Hiromu Takahashi on Night One of Wrestle Kingdom 14; however, PWInsider reports that the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion suffered a broken heel during the match-up.

The injury may have occurred when Ospreay performed The Great Sasuka Special dive onto Takahashi. At the moment, there’s no word on how severe the injury is for the 26-year-old. Ospreay did wrestle at the New Year’s Dash event, teaming with Kazuchika Okada, Yoshi-Hashi, and Robbie Eagles; however, he didn’t perform much inside the match and was notably favoring his heel a bit.

We’ll keep you updated when news confirms how serious his injury is.
