“Filthy” Tom Lawlor will return to Bloodsport.

The former MLW World Heavyweight Champion is the latest name to be confirmed for the upcoming show on October 11. Lawlor is no stranger to the Bloodsport show as the 37-year-old first made his debut against NXT UK Champion WALTER in 2018. Lawlor returned to fight Davey Boy Smith Jr. in 2019. The former UFC fighter ended up losing both bouts.

Thus far, his opponent has yet to be confirmed for the special event. Lawlor joins Jon Moxley (AEW World Champion), Deonna Purrazzo (Impact Knockouts Champion), Josh Alexander of The North, former X-Division Champion Homicide, and Calvin Tankman on the independent show for Oct. 11.

Bloodsport is professional wrestling in a ring with no ropes; The rules include no pins and fights are stopped based on knockouts, submissions, or disqualifications. In the past, talents such as Frank Mir, Timothy Thatcher, Minoru Suzuki, Killer Kross, and Davey Boy Smith Jr. have fought under the special event in years past.
