CMLL is now another home for Bandido.
The 24-year-old himself confirmed that he’s signed with the Lucha Libre promotion, with plans to fight the top dogs in the company.
Bandido has mostly wrestled for Ring of Honor in 2019, with his contract set to expire towards the end of the year with the promotion. CMLL and Ring of Honor have a working relationship together, so it’s possible that this is a sign that the Mexico native will remain with the company in the foreseeable future.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirms that his deal with CMLL is not full-time. Prior to signing with ROH in 2018, there was some interest from WWE to sign the young high flyer; however, it was reported last month that Bandido may look to stay independent and just work with different promotions.
There’s no word on what Bandido’s next match will be in CMLL; however, he will team with Flamita at ROH Final Battle to take on Marty Scurll and Flip Gordon.
