Former ROH World Tag Team Champion Chris Sabin is done with the promotion.

ROH did offer a new deal to Sabin; however, he ultimately turned down signing a new contract. Sabin suffered a torn ACL during the Honor Reigns Supreme event in January during a six-way bout against Shane Taylor, Luchasaurus, Rhett Titus, Kenny King and Flip Gordon. There’s no word on why Sabin turned down the deal.

However, Sabin won’t be out of a job for long as he’ll be returning to IMPACT Wrestling as a producer. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the former TNA World Heavyweight champion will be working this weekend’s television tapings in Windsor as a producer.

The promotion is testing the waters with various talents in the producer role, in hopes of finding a suitable replacement for Abyss and Sonjay Dutt, who are now working for the WWE. Lance Storm is scheduled to work as a producer at this weekend's tapings on a trial basis.

Sabin worked in TNA/IMPACT from 2003 to 2014 and is a former TNA Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion, and eight-time X Division Champion.
