Dustin Rhodes will finally have his desired match against Cody at Double or Nothing. On the newest episode of ‘The Road To Double or Nothing’, it was revealed that the former Intercontinental champion would make his debut for All Elite Wrestling on May 25
th, and it would be against his brother Cody.
The man formerly known as Goldust shot down rumors recently that he was released from WWE when speculation ran rampant that the former Intercontinental champion was waiting out his 90-day non-compete clause.
Originally, these two were set to have a feud going into WrestleMania 31. While Cody and Goldust had a match at the company’s February pay-per-view, Fastlane – in which Goldust scored the victory via roll-up - the plans for the rivalry were ultimately nixed and Cody (who was Stardust then) would compete in a Six-Way Ladder match for the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 31.
