Looks like everyone’s favorite Funkadactyl is making her comeback to the squared circle.

Ariane Andrew – the former Cameron from WWE – uploaded a video on her YouTube channel and announced that she is returning to the four-sided ring, though the former WWE superstar stated that the details surrounding her return would be revealed later.

The news of the former WWE star returning isn't too shocking as Ariane did an interview back in January with DS Shin of Ring The Belle and hinted that she might make a return to the ring. Here’s the statement the former Tough Enough competitor made during the interview that teased a possible comeback (transcript courtesy of fightful.com):

“You know I had to do the regular DDT when people can’t base me because that one requires a group effort. I just felt that it was very flashy and cute and I actually had come up with another finisher when I was down in NXT as my comeback -- no you guys didn’t get to see that, but maybe you guys will in the future. I may have an announcement to possibly make." She continued, "Who knows what it's about? Hmm, to possibly, maybe come back in WWE. I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know, who's to say? I don’t know.”

The former WWE talent will always be remembered for her response to Stone Cold Steve Austin about her favorite wrestling match on the Tough Enough revival, but her stint with the company mostly stems from Total Divas and being a Funkadactyl. Once her and Naomi broke up, Cameron’s career slowly faded away, with her last televised match being in a battle royal down in NXT. She was eventually released from the WWE in May of 2016.
