It’s official, Jay White accepts Marty Scurll's challenge!

This past week, The ROH star made a surprise appearance at the New Beginning USA tour in Raleigh, North Carolina and issued out a challenge to the Bullet Club leader.

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion finally responded to Scurll’s challenge and the cocky 27-year-old had no problem giving Scurll the 15-minutes of fame that he’s looking for (transcript courtesy of rohwrestling.com):

“You see how Bullet Club is the best that it’s ever been with me at the forefront and you, Marty, nowhere to be seen,” White said. “So you want to challenge the man that single-handedly sold out Madison Square Garden, and you want me to come to Ring of Honor and breathe life back into the place that you call home. … At Supercard of Honor, you’re on.”

This is the first match confirmed for the big show in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, April 4th. The other names advertised for the event are KENTA, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, Villain Enterprises (ROH World Champion PCO, Scurll, Brody King and “The Mercenary” Flip Gordon), La Facción Ingobernable (RUSH, ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee, Kenny King and Amy Rose), Slex, Session Moth Martina, and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion El Phantasmo.
