Dan Maff will face his toughest challenge to date, as the former ROH World Tag Team Champion is set to take on former ROH World Television Champion, Jeff Cobb.
While many matches on Final Battle are very personal rivalries between two bitter enemies, this match-up between the two powerhouses is actually built on respect. Following the announcement of his return to the promotion, Maff did an interview with ROH and stated that Jeff Cobb is one of the talents that he would like to face in the future.
The former ROH World Television Champion has been busy tearing it up down in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Tag League tournament, which could be a blessing in disguise for Maff. Cobb will be exhausted and in recovery mode following the conclusion of the tournament on Dec. 8th.
