The AAA Mega Champion will finally defend his title in All Elite Wrestling!

It’s been confirmed that Kenny Omega will defend the AAA Mega Championship against Jack Evans on AEW Dark, which will be on the taped part of the November 20th show that airs next week.

“The Cleaner” defeated Fenix in a grueling back-and-forth match at the Heroes Inmortales XIII show to win the belt. Dave Meltzer reported shortly thereafter that the AEW star would indeed defend the belt in promotion, though Omega’s challengers were never confirmed.

With Fenix in AEW, the company could always have the two talents battle for the championship gold, though there’s no word on what the future lies for The Lucha Brothers going forward. The 28-year-old will have his first singles match tonight against Nick Jackson, which could be a sign that the company will be pushing Fenix as a singles star going forward.
