Unfortunately, former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush won’t be competing in the wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament.

Last month, Westside Xtreme Wrestling confirmed the 16 competitors for the upcoming competition, which included Lio Rush. However, the promotion announced that the NXT star won’t compete in the tournament this year due to conflicting schedules:

However, a replacement has already been revealed as former ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb is set to compete at the three-day event. This is the second replacement for the wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament, as Alex Shelley pulled out of the event due to fears of the Coronavirus.

Below is the confirmed first-round match-ups:

Bandido vs. Julian Pace

Daniel Makabe vs. Eddie Kingston

The Rotation vs. Puma King

Chris Ridgeway vs. Mike Bailey

Black Taurus vs. Shigehiro Irie

Lucky Kid vs. Jurn Simmons
