Will we ever see Cody Rhodes vs. MJF?

At the moment, the AEW Executive seems a bit preoccupied with The Blade, The Butcher, and The Bunny, and his former friend made it clear that he has no plans to wrestle Rhodes anytime soon. Back when Rhodes first left the WWE in 2016, the 34-year-old made a list of names that he would like to face on the independent circuit.

In a classic MJF move, the cocky 23-year-old mocked this moment by putting a list of people that he will never compete against, which simply states Cody Rhodes.

While the AEW Executive Vice President seems a bit busy with another feud right now, there will surely be a match down the line between Rhodes and MJF. Whether it’s on Dynamite or pay-per-view is unknown; however, it does appear that the company is saving the big showdown between the two for a later date.
