New Japan Pro Wrestling is really hitting its stride at the moment.

The Strong Style Evolved event in Long Beach was incredibly successful, with tickets selling out immediately. NJPW’s stock has been rising due to the stellar matches and wrestlers such as Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, or IWGP World Heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada are hot commodity at the moment.

During Strong Style Evolved. the promotion announced their return to the west on July 7th, 2018 from the world-famous Cow Palace in San Francisco. The announcement states that it will happen during the New Japan’s annual G1 tournament. The historic venue has hosted wrestling for decades, with as many as 13,000 fans in attendance at its peak. The promotion will once again double its ticket potential and could end up being the single biggest wrestling show in the U.S. not put on by WWE since the death of WCW.
