NJPW Confirms The Sixteen Tag Teams In This Year's WORLD TAG LEAGUE Tournament

The 2019 World Tag League is almost underway and New Japan Pro Wrestling has unveiled the 16 tag teams who will compete in this year's tournament. Find out which teams will compete in the annual competition.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the teams for the 2019 World Tag League.

Sixteen tag teams will compete in the annual tournament for a chance to challenge the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team champions at Wrestle Kingdom 14. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa (The Guerillas of Destiny) are currently the champions.

Like the G1 Climax and the Super Juniors Tag League, the World Tag League is a round-robin style competition that will take place within a span of three weeks. In addition to the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team champions, talents such as Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tomohiro Ishii, KENTA, and Lance Archer will be competing in the tournament this year.

The event is scheduled to take place between November 16 to December 8th.
