On the latest episode of The Recount, narrator Kevin Kelly recalls the career of Chris Jericho in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

While many will look back on his big return to the Japanese promotion by violently attacking Kenny Omega, the company goes back even further and starts out with Jericho’s first match back at Fighting Spirit 1997.

From there, the compelling documentary chronicles the rise of the wrestling legend in New Japan by briefly recapping his feuds with Kenny Omega, EVIL, Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada, and his Wrestle Kingdom 14 opponent, Hiroshi Tanahashi.
