Will we see The Great Muta challenge Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship someday?

At the moment, Aldis has to worry about James Storm for his prestigious belt, but at the WrestleCade Supershow last weekend, the 33-year-old seemingly issued a challenge to the wrestling legend:

Aldis has previously stated that he’s wanted to face the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion inside the squared circle. Muta won the belt back in 1993 over Masa Chono; however, his title reign lasted less than 50 days, as Muta dropped the belt to Barry Windham at WCW Super Brawl III.

At the moment, there’s no word on what the future lies for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens at Into The Fire on December 14th.
