Ring of Honor is officially relaunching the Women of Honor division.

The company has been struggling to get the division off the ground since it’s inception back in 2018; however, the entire division hit a crossroads due to the situation regarding Kelly Klein and ROH officials.

The company fired Klein while she was still the reigning Women of Honor World Champion. Since then, the promotion has kept quiet about what the next step will be for the division as a whole. Backstage news reported that WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray was replaced by Jonathan Gresham as head booker of the division.

Now, the company has finally revealed the next step for the Women of Honor as a tournament will be held to crown the next Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion.

The tournament will begin at the Quest For Gold show on April 24 in Philadelphia. There will be a total of eight first-round matches; however, no participants have been confirmed thus far. The company has elected to rebrand the belt as there’s no mention of Kelly Klein or the title situation itself.

Check out the ROH website to get some more details such as ticket information and location for the Quest For Gold show.
