Relive the bloody Dog Collar match between CM Punk and Raven!
Recently, Ring of Honor has been uploading classic matches from their library, and many of those bouts include the former WWE Champion. The Pure Championship Tournament match at Pure Excellence between AJ Styles and CM Punk was just highlighted, along with his world championship matches against Austin Aries (Death Before Dishonor, 6/18/05) and Roderick Strong (Escape From New York, 7/9/05).
However, before CM Punk became the ROH World Tag Team and World Heavyweight Champion, the 42-year-old had a very personal feud against the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion. Punk’s rivalry centered around his Straight-Edge lifestyle and the wrestler had an absolute disdain for Raven due to his consumption and love for alcohol.
This led to various brutal matches between the two men, including their unforgettable dog collar match at Death Before Dishonor 2003. Considered one of the best feuds of that year, both Raven and Punk fought an incredible war that exemplified the hatred between the two competitors.
