ROH Uploads Three Classic El Generico Matches To Celebrate 18th Anniversary

Ring of Honor is celebrating 18 years in wrestling by releasing unforgettable matches of past and present talents. Check out the three classic matches that feature former World Television Champion El Generico.

The three classic matches of everyone’s favorite ROH luchador are uploaded.

Even though the Mexican Luchador has gracefully retired and returned back to his homeland, according to Sami Zayn, the popular star could always be counted on to deliver an unforgettable performance inside the ring.

Debuting in 2005, Generico quickly became the favorite amongst fans thanks to his charisma and athletic ability. One of his most notable matches was against Kota Ibsuhi at Return Engagement in April 2008.

Following that battle, El Generico would get into an intense and personal feud with former tag team partner Kevin Steen. Their rivalry is still considered one of the best in Ring of Honor, and their Fight Without Honor match at Final Battle 2010 will prove one of the reasons why.

Following his two-year feud against the former ROH World Champion, Generico aimed to become the next ROH World Television Champion; however, Christopher Daniels did everything in his power at Best in the World to make sure that didn’t come to fruition.
