RUSH is now the new ROH World Champion!
This past Saturday, the shocking title change took place at the Gateway To Honor event in a Triple Threat match between PCO, Mark Haskins, and RUSH. Out of nowhere, Nick Aldis came out and blasted PCO with the NWA World Championship.
The La Faccion Ingobernable leader took advantage of the situation by connecting with his Bull’s Horns finisher for the victory.
With the help of Nick Aldis, the 31-year-old avenged his loss to the Canadian native at Final Battle. PCO was the first man to defeat RUSH and won the ROH World Championship at the company’s final pay-per-view of the year. PCO’s title reign was only for 78 days; however, the 52-year-old will get his chance at revenge on April 4, as PCO will take on Nick Aldis in a non-title match.
As for RUSH, he becomes the fifth man to win the ROH World title twice in his career. Brothers RUSH and Dragon Lee hold both the ROH World and World Television titles, respectively.
