The Australian native will get a chance to win his first title within Ring of Honor as Slex is confirmed for the upcoming 16-man ROH Pure Championship tournament.

The ROH newcomer hasn’t showed fans in the United States his true potential yet, as the 32-year-old made a big name for himself prior to his ROH debut on the international independent wrestling scene.

Mostly known for his for work down in Melbourne City Wrestling, WRESTLECLASH, and Professional Wrestling Alliance, Slex’s explosive combination of speed and technical wrestling has made him one of the most exciting wrestlers on the planet.

Slex is no stranger to holding championship gold, as he is a former MCW Champion, PWA Australian Heavyweight Champion, and WrestleRock Champion. The ROH star also had stints in PROGRESS Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Southern Pro Wrestling.

Slex will join Alex Shelley, Mark Haskins, Jonathan Gresham, Doug Williams, and Rocky Romero for a chance to make history and become the first Pure Champion since 2006. The question is, can the Australian native outlast 15 other men to win the tournament? We’ll find out soon. The Pure Championship tournament begins on Friday, April 10 in Columbus and Saturday, April 11 in Pittsburgh.
