Former Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard is set to make her return.
The third-generation star has been quiet in the wrestling world since leaving the promotion back in June; however, Blanchard will be lacing up the boots this weekend as she’s set to fight current Impact star Kylie Rae for the Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship.
This will be Blanchard first match since March as the 25-year-old has been out of action since the pandemic started earlier this year. Blanchard has actually been the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion since December 2019 and successfully defended the belt against Big Swole, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Kylie Rae, Madison Rayne, Ray Lyn, Tasha Steelz, and Taya Valkyrie.
As of this writing, there’s still no word on what the future holds for Blanchard. Many pegged the third-generation star WWE bound following her departure from Impact, though no news has come to light about Blanchard signing any deals with the promotion.
Blanchard and Rae won’t be the only recognizable name on the Warrior Wrestling show as Brian Cage, Thunder Rosa, TJP, Joey Janela, and Alex Shelley are also scheduled for the event. The show will be streamed on FITE. Check out the advertised matches below:
