Next week, we’ll get Joey Janela vs. Jon Moxley II.

Since Full Gear, the former WWE Champion has been looking for a fight, with Darby Allin the first man to step up to the plate. While it appears that Moxley has his eyes firmly set on the AEW World Championship, a title match will have to take a backseat, as the “Bad Boy” accepted Moxley’s open challenge.

Janela wasn’t at this week’s AEW Dynamite, as the 30-year-old wrestled at the GCW Chopper City In The Ghetto event. Janela would grab a mic and accept Moxley’s challenge. The two AEW stars will now face off in the main event next week.

This isn’t the first time that Janela and Moxley had a match within the promotion, as the former WWE Champion’s first contest in AEW was a Lights Out match against the “Bad Boy” at Fyter fest back in June. Moxley would ultimately win the brutal fight; however, since it was a Lights Out match, it didn’t count to his overall AEW record.
