The status of former ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb has been in question in recent weeks; however, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the 37-year-old will remain with
Ring of Honor for the time being.
However, Cobb doesn’t have an exclusive deal with the company, as his previous deal expired on January 1. Even though Cobb doesn’t have a contract with the promotion, the report states that he’s happy with ROH and its direction, and will continue to work with them "unless something changes."
Cobb last competed at Final Battle, defeating Dan Maff during the pre-show. He’s scheduled to team with Maff on Jan. 11 against The Briscoes and Lifeblood in a triple threat tag team match. He is also advertised for the free ROH show on Feb. 9.
The Hawaii native has been busy down in New Japan Pro Wrestling, as he competed in the 2019 World Tag League tournament, and is set for the upcoming New Beginning USA tour.
