On Oct. 2, Jake Hager made his shocking debut in a wild brawl that many AEW fans will never forget.

Since then, the former World Heavyweight Champion has appeared on every episode of AEW Dynamite as The Inner Circle’s bodyguard and while Hager has got into a scuffle or two, he’s yet to make his in-ring debut for the promotion.

According to the Wrestling Observer, that apparently won’t change anytime soon and that’s due to Hager’s fight against Anthony Garrett on October 25 in Bellator (transcript courtesy of wrestletalk.com):

“His agreement was that he’s doing TV every week and taking Tuesday and Wednesdays as his days off training while training the other five days, but wouldn’t wrestle matches until after the fight to avoid the injury risk.”

It’s possible that Hager could make his debut at Full Gear on November 9th, facing talents such as Adam “Hangman” Page, Darby Allin, and Dustin Rhodes, given that each man has some serious issues with the MMA fighter. However, this is just pure speculation as there’s no word on what Hager will be doing at Full Gear.
