There will be a winner.

AEW has announced that three judges will be present at ringside during the Full Gear main event, which will see Chris Jericho defend the AEW World Championship against Cody Rhodes. The match-up is scheduled for a 60-minute time limit; however, in the event of a draw, then the judges will vote on who will win the AEW World Championship bout.

Should there not be a unanimous choice, the majority decision will be the winner. The judging process strongly resembles MMA, though it’s not exactly clear how the judges will score the championship match-up. As of this writing, AEW has yet to reveal who the three judges will be; however, with Full Gear set for next week, it’s possible that the names will be confirmed on AEW Dynamite tonight or next Wednesday.

Full Gear is set for PPV on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and is available for purchase via iN DEMAND cable operators, DirecTV, DISH Network and B/R Live. International fans can purchase the event at ITV Box Office and FITE.TV.
