TJP will make his return to Major League Wrestling.

Back in July, the promotion announced the return of the Opera Cup, which was a multi-day tournament that took place in the New York City and Boston locations. This year, the tournament will be a single night event that features four opening round bouts.

Now, the company has confirmed the first two entrants in the competition, as the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion will take on Brian Pillman Jr. at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City on December 5.

TJP is no stranger to MLW, as the 35-year-old briefly spent some time in the promotion back in 2004. Since then, TJP has competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, and of course, WWE. The 2019 Opera Cup will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.
