Tracy Williams will fight to win his first title in the upcoming ROH Pure Championship tournament.

Williams has been with the promotion since 2018, and while “Hot Sauce” came extremely close to winning the Ring of Honor World and World Television titles in 2019, Williams has yet to capture gold within the company.

Williams is no stranger to being a champion, as the ROH star previously won the AIW Absolute Championship and Evolve Tag Team Championship throughout his tenure on the indie circuit. Though Williams has yet to capture a belt under the ROH banner, the ROH star has come out on top of numerous battles against main event stars in the promotion.

Williams joins Slex, Alex Shelley, Mark Haskins, Jonathan Gresham, Doug Williams, and Rocky Romero for a chance to make history and become the first Pure Champion since 2006. The question is, can the Brooklyn native outlast 15 other men to win the tournament? We’ll find out soon. The Pure Championship tournament begins on Friday, April 10 in Columbus and Saturday, April 11 in Pittsburgh.
