British Independent wrestler Martin Kirby has decided to hang up the boots for good.

In a span of 14 years, The England native has fought around the world on the indie circuit, competing in Combat Zone Wrestling, PROGRESS Wrestling, World Of Sport Wrestling, Defiant Wrestling, and Revolution Pro Wrestling.

The wrestling veteran made a mark with each promotion he stepped into as Kirby won numerous titles throughout his career.  From competing in memorable tag team matches with AEW star Kip Sabian to winning the big one in World of Sport Wrestling, the British star has made an impact on the wrestling landscape.

Kirby penned an emotional statement regarding his retirement by simply thanking everyone who’s supported him throughout the years. Kirby doesn’t reveal why he ultimately decided to retire; however, this does sound like a decision that’s been years in the making:

 
Kirby is a former Knights Of Chaos Champion, WCPW World Champion, HOPE Champion, GPW Heavyweight Champion, and RDW British Heavyweight Champion. Should more news come out about the reasoning on the veteran’s retirement then we’ll pass along the information.
