Next week, The Young Bucks will get their first shot at the AEW World Tag Team titles.

The former IWGP Tag Team Champions got the opportunity by beating Santana & Ortiz in a Texas Street Fight on AEW Dynamite. Not surprisingly, the win was not an easy task for Matt and Nick Jackson, with the bout almost coming to an end on several occasions.

However, the Bucks were able to take out Santana and then connected with the Meltzer Driver on Ortiz for the win. The victory cemented The Bucks as the number one contenders for Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian’s AEW World Tag Team titles on December 18th.

Next week’s AEW Dynamite is set to be a huge show, as Chris Jericho will fight Jungle Boy in a non-title match, along with a women’s title number one contender’s match between Britt Baker and Kris Statlander. Riho will defend the AEW Women’s Championship against the winner on the January 1st episode of AEW Dynamite.
