So, just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, former WWE Cruiserweight champion Neville has finally been released from his contract.

The reason for his release is still unclear, but many fans are rejoicing over the fact that Neville will soon be able to wrestle for promotions such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor or World Of Sport Wrestling.

Speaking of WOS, Stu Bennett (Wade Barrett of WWE fame) posted a message inviting the former NXT champion to the UK based company, “I’ve got a bunch of lads at @WOSWrestling who are asking to fight you.. Check it out on @ITV at 5pm today & you can pick your opponent”.

Can you imagine Joe Hendry vs. Neville? Or one of the top wrestlers in the world, Will Ospreay? Both matches would be fantastic.

Anyways, there’s no telling whether Neville will return to the ring or not, but the future for the man that gravity forgot is looking bright.
