Alan Patrick has been pulled from his fight against Marc Diakiese.

It was confirmed last week that the lightweights were set to clash on July 18; however, Patrick was forced to pull out of the fight this past weekend. The reason is currently unknown. According to MMA Junkie, Rafael Fiziev will step up and take on Diakiese next month.

A newcomer to the lightweight division, Fiziev failed to make a successful transition over to the company by losing to Magomed Mustafaev at UFC Fight Night 149. However, Fiziev rebounded with a win over Alex White at UFC Fight Night 162. The 27-year-old also competed in Titan Fighting Championship, Road Fighting Championship, and Primal Fighting Championship. Fiziev came into the UFC strong as the lightweight was on a six-fight winning streak. His professional record currently stands at 7 wins and 1 loss.
