Rest assured fans who were hoping to see Leon Edwards vs. Tyron Woodley, that fight will happen, according to Dana White.
The UFC President has ensured fans that all previously cancelled fights that were called off will be rescheduled for future events. UFC Fight Night London, UFC Fight Night Columbus, which was set to be headlined with a bout between Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and UFC Fight Night Portland, featuring the main event between Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris, were axed from their respective dates due to the coronavirus.
White doesn’t give a timetable for when those fights could take place; however, he told Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports that everything will get back on track following the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson at UFC 249:
“All these fights are being rescheduled, once we get the Khabib fight on, we’re rolling, man. We’re back in business, and we’re rolling. And like I told you earlier, everybody that’s going to fight because they want to, not because they have to.”
As far as UFC 249 goes, the event is still scheduled for April 18, with Brett Okamoto of ESPN confirming that a location for the pay-per-view is close to being a lock, and that the show will feature a full line-up:
