Despite having a short stint in the UFC, Brock Lesnar managed to make a huge impact within the promotion. The 42-year-old entered UFC 81 with only one professional fight under his belt, and unfortunately for Lesnar, his inexperience costed him as former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir got the win thanks to a kneebar submission.

Even though the former WWE Champion lost his debut fight in the promotion, Lesnar would improve his ground game and rebound with a unanimous decision win over Heath Herring at UFC 87. Following his impressive performance, Lesnar would be granted a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title and the “Beast Incarnate” managed to pull off a TKO victory against veteran Randy Couture at UFC 91, effectively ending his one-year reign as the 235-pound champion.

Lesnar then got the opportunity to fight the only man to defeat him inside the octagon at UFC 100. Going in, Mir was on a three-fight winning streak, besting Antoni Hardonk (via submission at UFC 74) and Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira (via TKO at UFC 92), in addition to Lesnar.

It didn’t take too long for Lesnar to silence the critics and beat Mir in the second round in dominant fashion. Relive Brock’s win over the former UFC Heavyweight Champion below:
