UFC Fight Night Lincoln has officially lost Shamil Gamzatov vs. Ovince St. Preux.

Gamzatov was forced to pull out of the fight due to the travel restrictions in Russia. According to MMA Junkie, St. Preux is expected to remain on the card as officials are currently searching for his replacement. There’s no word on who could potentially fight the light heavyweight.

Going in, the Florida native has a little bit of momentum as he’s coming off a victory over Michał Oleksiejczuk at UFC Fight Night Copenhagen. Prior to the much-needed win, the 36-year-old was in the midst of a two-fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Dominick Reyes (UFC 229) and Nikita Krylov (UFC 236).

St. Preux has only won two out of his last five fights, besting Tyson Pedro via submission at UFC Fight Night Singapore. The light heavyweight’s professional record currently stands at 24 wins and 13 losses.

UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on April 25, 2020. Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira will headline the special show. Other fights include a women’s flyweight bout between Cynthia Calvillo and Antonina Shevchenko, and Billy Quarantillo making his return to the octagon to take on Gavin Tucker.
