Stipe Miocic is tired of the whining regarding the UFC Heavyweight title situation.

To recap, Daniel Cormier is aiming to have his rematch against Stipe Miocic at the UFC pay-per-view in August; however, Miocic has stated that he hasn’t been able to train due to the gyms being closed down in his state.

Dana White chimed in and made it clear that if Miocic didn’t defend his belt against Cormier in August, then the 37-year-old will be stripped of the 235-pound belt. However, Stipe makes it clear that he will fight by the end of 2020:

"There is no doubt that I will fight by the end of this year. That is 100 percent certain," Miocic said in his interview MMA Fighting. Tired of all the whining and complaining, the UFC Heavyweight Champion dismisses everyone's opinions and again highlights why he hasn’t been able to train:

“I don’t know what people want from me really,” Miocic said. “Everyone’s like ‘he’s holding the division’ and I’m like how am I holding up the division? Other guys are saying ‘we can train.’ Well, good for you. You live in a different state, you have different regulations. My coach, no joke, shut his gym down. He wasn’t taking any dudes, no one’s paying anything cause it’s not fair to everyone. They had a bunch of stuff outside the gym and a couple people, like five or six people were working out together, they were even six feet apart and someone saw that and reported it and he got cited by the CDC. That’s how strict they are. So everyone can just shut up cause they’re idiots.”

Cormier has even addressed Miocic not defending his belt and previously stated that the champ should give up his title if he’s not going to fight. Miocic could care less about the former UFC Heavyweight Champion’s opinion right now:

“I don’t care. I really don’t care what his opinion is. Never did,” Miocic said. “Honestly, he says one thing and then contradicts himself all the time. Apparently I’m not a champ. He just calls his own shots. Whatever. Everyone else is talking. Saying vacate or defend. Whatever, I can’t make everybody happy or anybody happy. I don’t care at this point. Stop crying.”
