The footage of Jon Jones’ latest arrest has been released.

MMA Junkie obtained the bodycam footage of the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion’s arrest in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Thursday. The 32-year-old has been charged with aggravated DWI, negligent use of firearms, possession of open container, and no proof of insurance and Jones will have to go back to court for a bond arraignment hearing set for April 8.

The footage shows the entire situation. Jones gives his reasoning for being out even though New Mexico is currently under a stay-at-home order due to the coronavirus; The New York native says that he got “stir crazy” and he just wanted to take a drive. Jones admits to having a drink earlier in the day; however, he states that he was having conversations with homeless people.

It’s clear that the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is need of help and hopefully Jones seeks some out following the latest brush with the law. After their brief statement, UFC has remained silent over the situation and Jon Jones’ future.
