Niko Price won’t be fighting outside of the UFC for the foreseeable future.
The welterweight revealed on his social media that he signed a four-fight deal with the promotion. Like many of the confirmed UFC contract signings, no additional details were confirmed regarding his deal.
The 30-year-old has been fighting within the UFC since 2016. Price scored an impressive victory over Brandon Thatch at UFC 207 and extended his undefeated record to nine wins. Eventually, the Florida native would suffer his first defeat against Vicente Luque at UFC Fight Night São Paulo back in October 2017.
It wouldn’t take long for Price to bounce back into the win column by besting George Sullivan and Randy Brown. While the welterweight would be handed two more defeats inside of the octagon, Price has won two out of his last four fights, beating Tim Means (UFC Fight Night Wichita) and James Vick (UFC Fight Night Tampa). His professional record currently stands at 14 wins and 3 losses. There’s no word on when Price will make his return to the octagon.
