NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING Will Return To MSG The Same Night As WWE's NXT TAKEOVER: BOSTON

After a successful show in Madison Square Garden last year, New Japan Pro Wrestling isn't going to shy away from going head to head with WWE as it's been revealed that they'll host Wrestle Dynasty this August!

It's been confirmed today that New Japan Pro Wrestling will be returning to New York City's Madison Square Garden this summer for an event called Wrestle Dynasty. That's set to take place on Saturday, August 21st, and while ticket details have yet to be revealed, we should get news on that front soon.

As you may recall, NJPW and Ring of Honor co-promoted the G1 Supercard event in the same arena during last year's WrestleMania weekend and that proved to be a huge hit for the company.

This may be coincidental or a deliberate move on NJPW's part (especially after WWE went to great lengths to stop them from hosting a show in MSG last year) but Wrestle Dynasty is set to take place on the exact same day as NXT TakeOver: Boston
