A Number Of NXT Superstars Reportedly Unhappy With Pay Issues And Now Want To Be Released

NXT is now on the USA Network and it was widely reported that would mean the developmental brand's wrestlers would start making more money. Well, it seems that's not the case and there's a lot of unhappiness.

It sounds like there could be some unhappiness in NXT due to pay-related issues. When it was revealed that the developmental brand was being moved to the USA Network, it was said that talent would benefit from being paid more, especially as WWE could be getting as much as $50 million per year from the station.

Well, according to independent wrestler David Starr on social media, his friends in NXT who are now appearing on TV each week have been told that pay rises aren't going to happen.

Squared Circle Sirens'Casey Michael, meanwhile, claims that a lot of the brand's Superstars feel like they've been fed empty promises and they're now looking for their release. It also seems as if WWE has gone overboard signing as many wrestlers as possible because they've run out of lockers for new talent at the Performance Center!

The problem is that the majority of wrestlers in NXT aren't big names so the odds of them being able to go somewhere like All Elite Wrestling for more money are arguably quite slim!
