Even MORE Big Changes Could Be In The Works For NXT 2.0 Following Recent Rebranding

NXT is now unrecognisable. With Triple H M.I.A. as he recovers from a recent health scare, the show has been transformed into NXT 2.0 under the watch of Vince McMahon and Bruce Pritchard. Some fans like the change and others hate it, but the overhaul doesn't seem to have made much of a difference to ratings (which was the whole reason for the rebranding).

However, NXT 2.0 is a success in the respect that the developmental brand is now doing what it was originally intended for: creating the Superstars McMahon believes can main event WrestleMania.

As you can see below, it's now being reported that another big change for the show could be on the way. The brand may switch to a TV-14 content rating, meaning NXT 2.0 would move away from TV-PG. That would be a bold move for WWE, but it's one the USA Network seems to be on board with.

This would likely bring NXT 2.0 more in line with AEW and hopefully lead to an increase in viewership from a younger audience.
