This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:

On tap for tonight's episode, Jon Moxley will be in action against "The Jet" Kevin Knight. Last week, Moxley defeated Knight's tag team partner "Speedball" Mike Bailey, and appears to be continuing in that trend here. Whether that means an other victory or not remains to be seen, but undoubtedly, Darby Allin won't be far behind, after last week nearly running over Wheeler Yuta and calling out Moxley in a challenge for a match at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event, which has yet to be made official.

Moxley's successor as AEW world champion, "Hangman" Adam Page, will have a face-to-face with his archenemy and de facto No. 1 contender, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, on tonight's episode. MJF is determined to get Page to agree to a title match without having to execute the contract he won for a championship opportunity by coming out on top of the Casino Gauntlet at All In, so that he can use that contract as an emergency backup plan to try to steal the title. They've had no reservations about their problems with one another, so this will surely be an explosive meeting.

Also on the schedule is Adam Copeland against Stokely Hathaway, with the idea in mind that if FTR interferes in any way to help out their manager, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will nullify their restraining order against The Rated-R Superstar. It's a win-win scenario as Cope either gets to open the floodgates to fight FTR, or he gets to beat up on Big Stoke in the meantime and get some revenge on at least one third of this pair.

Obviously, expect more in rivalries such as "Timeless" Toni Storm versus Athena, Mercedes Mone's four-way for the TBS Championship, the eliminator tournament to determine who fights The Hurt Syndicate for the tag titles at Forbidden Door, and more.

Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - August 13, 2025:

  • Promo: "Hangman" Adam Page and MJF had their face-to-face segment, with Page eventually goading MJF into executing his contract. They'll fight for the AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door.
  • Jon Moxley defeated Kevin Knight by submission. Darby Allin came out after the match with a bodybag, only for The Death Riders to get the edge on him. Claudio Castagnoli put him in the bodybag and spun him around. Will Ospreay then made his return and went on the attack to make the save and then issue a challenge for he and his friends to face The Death Riders in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door.
  • Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata and Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Mone, Skye Blue and Thekla by submission (Blue tapping out). "Timeless" Toni Storm was watching the match and brawled with Athena at the end. Post-match, the heel trio went after the babyface trio. This ended with Storm issuing a challenge for a tag team match for next week's Dynamite.
  • Adam Copeland vs Stokely Hathaway ended with FTR interfering, which nullifies their restraining order. Christian Cage came to the rescue and helped fight them off, including swatting away Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian. Cage and Copeland hugged it out to end the segment.
  • Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Hiromu Takahashi, Tomohiro Ishii, Brody King, and Hologram and defeated Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and The Young Bucks by pinfall.
  • Swerve Strickland and Kazuchika Okada had an awkward segment from top to bottom of a promo that had pacing issues, microphone issues, and ultimately was just a base line "I'm going to win / no you aren't, bitch." promo.
  • Backstage, Alicia Atout asked Jon Moxley who his teammates will be for Forbidden Door. Moxley then went to speak to The Young Bucks and shut the door.
  • Trios Match: The Opps defeated La Faccion Ingobernables by submisison.
  • The show ended with MJF attacking Adam Page in the parking lot from behind.
