Finn Balor And Johnny Gargano Traded Barbs In A Sit-Down Interview On NXT

The rivalry between Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor reached new levels of intensity last night on NXT when both men took part in a sit-down interview (they were in separate locations, of course).

Johnny Wrestling admitted that he needed their upcoming match at TakeOver: Portland to solidify himself as the face of the company by beating the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history, and while Balor wouldn't go so far as echoing that sentiment, it's clear that he views the younger Superstar as a threat to his legacy.

The segment ended with Gargano telling Balor that he's going to drive the flag he left behind when he went to the main roster straight through his heart, and he does not miss. The Prince responded by pointing out that he has no heart.

This is going to be good!
