Well, it looks like we finally know who was responsible for attacking Aleister Black and putting him on the shelf!

The Dutch Destroyer suffered an injury a few months ago and was storyline written off TV with a mystery attacker angle. Several suspects have emerged since, but tonight during NXT tapings at Fullsail University the culprit was (seemingly) uncovered.

Though this could be misdirection, it certainly looks like Johnny Gargano is the one that laid Black out.

NXT has been teasing the possibility of a full-on Johnny Wrestling heel turn ever since his last match with Tomasso Ciampa, and whether he turns out to be Black's assailant or not, he is most definitely no longer a face.

What do you guys think of this reveal? Sound off below.
